المستخلص

Any thesis serving the Holy Koran i s - logically a limited effort because Koran’s exqu isite
treasu res are greater than being fulfi led by any human being’s effort
Essenti ally, the H oly Koran i s light, but it ismoul ded in the form of the A rabi c words
to be comprehensibl e, so that the crea tures can follow for gu i dance, worshi ppi ng
and be able to legislate, thin k and pon der each accord ing to what All ah has bestowed of
cogn ition upon h im when he studies the great Koran .




Thereupon , this thesis takes its ti tle Cognition i n the Holy Koran . So the simpl est explana
tion of the t itle is; how Alla h has mercy upon his peopl e when he shows the means of
cognition and its ends in the H oly Koran.






This cogn iti on - i n my opm1011 iS the begi nni ng of everyt hi ng. So, considerat
ion , m editati on, thi nking, worshi ppi ng or gu idance are not prefera ble un t il we cogn ize.
Thus, cogniti on - we are concern ed with - does not mean definitions but i t is the approach
to cognize and worshi p. Consequentl y, cognition is how Man learns and how Allah teaches
him . So, we wi ll discuss how faith u rges Man to learn. The Holy Koran di ffers - concerning
cognition - from the inconsistent and mortal human knowl edge known as theory. The
holiness and im mortal ity of Koran secure it from being liable to the changes wh ich
theories admit.
