Aims of the Research : The current research aims to achieve the following objectives : 1-Identifying the most important educational values and political concepts needed for the students in the second cycle of basic education. 2-Designing a proposed curriculum for school journalism aiming at the development of educational values and political concepts for the students of the second cycle of basic education. 3-Measuring the effectiveness of the proposed curriculum in the development of some educational values and political concepts for the students of the second cycle of basic education. 4-Presenting recommendations and suggestions which stem from the research in accordance with the results. Among the most important of the results which have been reached:After testing the validity of the hypotheses, the results showed the following:The pupils of the experimental group outweighed the control group in the achievement test.The pupils of the experimental group outweighed the control group in the situation test.Findings confirm that:1-The proposed approach has led to the development of knowledge about educational values and political concepts for the second cycle school pupils as revealed through the achievement test results. The curriculum contributed to the content delivery, activities and lessons in proportion to the pupils, aptitudes and abilities, making the pupils adopt a more positive and effective role in the educational process.
