Abstract

Adult-acquired flatfoot deformity is a common foot and
ankle problem, it is more common in females during 6th decade of
life, which is mainly caused by posterior tibial tendon dysfunction
(PTTD).
The management of posterior tibial tendon dysfunction
(PTTD) has proven to be difficult, as evidenced by the multitude
of conservative and surgical treatment options available for its
treatment
Evans calcaneal osteotomy is a common procedure for
treating the flexible calcaneovalgus foot in a variety of patients.
We systematic review clinical and radiological outcomes of
evans calcaneal osteotomy in treatment of adult acquired flatfoot
deformity.
The results of this study form the basis for a better
understanding of clinical and radiological outcomes of Evans
calcaneal osteotomy in treatment of adult acquired flat foot
deformity, but for further comparative clinical studies with other
surgical options and for long follow-up periods.
