Abstract The present study is concerned with syntheses, characterization and applications of five coordination polymers (CPs) (1-5) of some metals ”cobalt, cadmium and manganese”, three of cobalt, one of cadmium, one of manganese. The first three coordination polymers Quinoline-2-carboxylic acid (CP1), pyrazine carboxylic acid (CP2) and 2,2`bipyridine (CP3) as ligands. CP4 was produced by cadmium sulfate with pyradinedicarboxylic acid while CP5 was produced by manganese chloride with pyradinedicarboxylic acid. The applications of these coordination polymers were studied as antimicrobial activities and corrosion inhibitions. |
