Critical thinking and its relationship to self-actualization among a sample of university students a comparative study between Ain Shams University students and the American University students”.
Introduction :-
In This current conditions of the community has been found researcher case of variation among young people in the ability to understand and accommodate the views of others learning experience accumulated in life to be on the basis of experience of his own life, as the person who is vision cash is flexible and fluid to absorb all that is new and useful and this explains the reasons Seen some people in the age of seventy sit on the Internet and use it efficiently and this is due to the ability of these people to absorb these modern devices according to their vision they are useful and positive.
The importance of study:-
Has become the development of critical thinking requirement nationally because the person who thinks thinking critic be able to participate in political and social participation and has the ability to reshape life, so we see that there is an urgent need to study this variable, which we see a strong influence and effectively on all dimensions of life, so we want to see its effect on self-realization.
- The researcher has adopted critical thinking in two forms:
First: Specify personality and self: They focus on the target PC from behind critical thinking as stated in the definition of Anis (ENNIS), where he sees critical thinking is thinking meditative reasonable focuses on the decision-making while he thinks the individual or role for the development of his thinking and control Accordingly, it is thinking of the individual in the way that he thinks makes up his mind much healthier and clearer and defending him.

So crystallize the study in the second question: -
What is the relationship between the trend toward critical thinking and self-realization in the light of the variables of the economic and social level and the educational system and the cultural level of the study sample?
Objectives of the study: -
1 - Identifying the extent and degree of university youth trend towards critical thinking, critical thinking, which adopted the researcher is a reasonable meditative thinking focuses on the individual’s ability to take the decision in the light of estimating the opinions of others, and a strong and careful examination of the views of the opposition to his views and ideas.

3 - The study of self-realization in the light of variable critical thinking is important, especially if there is a positive correlation between self-realization and critical thinking will help us to develop critical thinking among young people in order to realize themselves and this is a real gain for the nation.
4 - In the light of the study variables (critical thinking - self-realization) the sample of young university because they are the future structure and we are always keen to understand and meet their needs to be more capable of giving and thus lead our nation toward progress.
5 - As for the comparative study between the students of the University of Ain Shams University students American Studies of the variables in the focus of the two samples preceding is important in order to determine the level of self-realization and critical thinking, according to the result of studies different in form and content of the study and that hide behind social systems, economic and cultural mixed.
Methodology of the study:
Comparative descriptive approach to its relevance to the theme and objectives of the study.
The study sample: -
110 students from Ain Shams University and 114 students from the American University.
