Abstract

Objectives : 1-Effect of different treatments of two plant growth regulators N6-benzyladenine (BA) and Gibberellic acid (GA3) when applied individually or combined on number of shoots and cluster weight of strawberry plants resulted from micropropagation system. 2-Somaclonal variation in strawberry treated by different concentrations of N6-benzyladenine (BA) and Gibberellic acid (GA3).3-The variability and acclimatization capacity of the plants resulted from the selective growth regulators treatments. Methods & Results :1- This trial was conducted to investigate the effect of the cultivars (Sweet charlie and Florida) and growth regulators (BA and GA3) on number of shoots and cluster weight.2- Using explants of two strawberry cultivars excised from shoots grown in vitro and cultured on the culture media supplemented with 30 g/1 sucrose, 7g/l agar, MS-medium full strength and different concentration of BA (0.0, 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 mg/l) and GA3 (0.0, 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6 mg/l).3-Analysis of variance showed that there are significant differences between the two varieties of strawberries testers for differing response to the impact of different growth regulators transactions. Analysis of variance also showed the importance of genetic variation of the recipe number of plants resulting in both cultivars. Heritability coefficient in the wide range was higher than 90%, which underscores the importance of genetic variation factor on the total variation.4- The results showed the Sweet charlie exhibited high rate of multiplication in both cluster weight and number off shoots than Florida. Conclusion:Effect of plant growth regulators concentrations on genetic stability of strawberry through RAPD molecular markers.Sweet charlie was more stable than Florida and could be more suitable for in vitro micro-propagation under the selected treatments of growth regulators hormones.the results revealed that the best multiplication rate was achieved at concentration of 0 BA /0.2 GA3 for Sweet charlie. Whereas, 1 BA /0.6 GA3 was the best combination gave the highest multiplication rate in Florida.Sweet charlie was more stable than Florida and could be more suitable for in vitro micro-propagation under the selected treatments of growth regulators hormone.
