المستخلص This study is a thesis presented to fulfill the requirements of getting the master’s degree in Philosophy of history and it is entitled “The idea of decay between Spengler and Paul Kennedy”. ”Comparative study ” has dealt with the history of the idea of decay , decay in old thinking and the modern and contemporary Thought Then followed by a study of the concept of cyclical theory when Spengler and characteristics of rotating theory and phases of civilization when Spengler and properties yard stage study also dealt with the idea of decay in the industrialized world and look to the future when Paul Kennedy , Paul Kennedy and predict the collapse of the Soviet Union , and finally dealt with the historical study and the inevitable decay of civilization s when Spengler and Paul Kennedy and manifestations of decay when Spengler and Paul Kennedy . The researcher uses the analytical comparative historical approach has been used in order to study the offer historical interest to the idea of decay, the analytical method has been used in the analysis of the issues that we provide each of Spengler and Paul Kennedy and access to the comparative method was used to compare the ideas of both Spengler and Paul Kennedy and other philosophers . Based on this debate, the current thesis includes five chapters in addition to introduction and conclusion that shows the results of the study, as follows: - Introduction: in this part, the researcher defines the topic in focus, its significance, methodology, and research questions. - Chapter (1) entitled “Introduction to life Spengler and Paul Kennedy”. - Chapter (2) entitled “The history of the idea of decay”. - Chapter (3) entitled “Interpretation of the idea of biological decay when Spengler”. - Chapter (4) entitled “The idea of decay and look to the future when Paul Kennedy”. - Chapter (5) entitled “Historical determinism and the decay of civilization between each of Spengler and Paul Kennedy ”. - The conclusion then comes to present the important results of the study followed by bibliography for the Arabic and Foreign sources and references. |
