Abstract For a long time, rachycardia has been observed and not well understood until methods of monitoring electrical of the heart have been introduced. Symptoms like syncope, palpitations and even sudden cardic death has been linked in part to tachycardia. ECG characteristics of different tachycardias have played important role in diagnosing and treating tachycardia. The introduction ablation has made a great leap in diagnosing and treating tachycardia in way that necessitated the emergence of the crcial science of electrophysiology. During the past several years, number of studies have been published reporting ECG and EP characteristics of different types of tachycardia and the results of catheter ablation supraventricular arrhythmias. |
