Abstract
The present study was carried out at the fish nutrition laboratory, Department of Animal and Fish Production, Faculty of Agriculture, Alexandria University. Summer of 2013. The study was to evaluate the effect of different feeding diets of microalgae Spirulina platensis (S) and three different medical plants; 1) Marjoram O. majorana leaves extract (M), 2) Licorice G. glabra root extract (L), and 3) Fennel F. vulgare seeds extract (F), at single and/or mixture form on the growth performance, feed utilization and whole body biochemical composition of Nile tilapia O. niloticus fry reared in aquarium for 12 weeks.
