Abstract
Obesity is worldwide problem that affects individuals’ health both physiologically and psychologically regardless their age.
With the growth of obesity as well as its complications, a variety of interpretations to reduce body weight took place.
These varieties include; dietary methods, habitual treatment, medications or bariatric surgeries.
Bariatric surgeries are usually indicated in patients with morbid obesity to reduce the risks of obesity complications.
After such surgeries, comes the problem of redundant skin and its complications such as; cosmetic disfigurement, physical disabilities, infections and psychic problems.
In this review, we summarize the methods of body contouring after bariatric surgeries such as; brachioplasty, mastopexy, abdomenoplasty and thigh lift.
