Abstract
The aim of the dissertation is to examine whether the Egyptian economy achieved high levels of economic efficiency compared with some LDCs economies (the researcher selected a sample of four LDCs which are: India, Turkey, Mexico, Brazil, these LDCs have some similar economic characteristics to the Egyptian economy such as labor abundance, balance of payment problems and public debt problems) through economic development process in the period of 1990-2010, by conducting DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) and some indicators of Investment efficiency.
