Abstract field experiments were carried out in clay and salty soil of pH nearly of 8.00 at Sidi Salem Directorate, Kafr El–Sheikh Governorate, Egypt, during the two successive winter seasons of 2011/2012 and 2012/2013. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of some nitrogen and phosphorous fertilization rates on the growth traits, yield, its components and some chemical properties of some bread wheat varieties. Each experiment included 36 treatments which were the combination of four nitrogen fertilizer rates, three phosphorous fertilizer rates and three bread wheat varieties. The experimental design was split split plot design in four replications. Laboratory experiments of grain insect infestation carried out at Department of Stored Product Pests, Plant Protection Research Institute, Sakha Agricultural Research Station after one year from harvest to estimate: Non-choice and choice experiments, Natural damage %, germination % and chemical properties of wheat on Randomized Complete Block Design with threr replications. |
