Abstract Over the centuries, motherhood has been considered the essence of women`s reproductive life. It is believed to ensure the fulfillment of their biological density, femininity and raises their social status. It necessitates numerous drastic physiological, psychological and social changes to incorporate a new family member. The development of a relationship with the unborn child is a ley development task in the successful psychological adjustment to pregnancy. Moreover, it is associated with the health behavior of the mother and the well-being of the fetus before as well as after birth. There are demographic, reproductive, current pregnancy profile, psychological and social factors. Assessing and understanding these factors will assist the maternity nurse in providing the appropriate care that would reinforce MFA. Aim of the study The present study aimed to identify the factors associated with maternal-fetal attachment.
