Abstract Background: Immunization remains one of the most important public health interventions and a cost effective strategy to reduce both the morbidity and mortality associated with infectious diseases this study was conducted to assesses vaccination status in Beni-Seuf governorate to detect children with improper vaccination status and increase children care givers awareness about vaccination on need. Methods: Cross – sectional pilot study was carried out on Five hundred children were selected non – randomly by a convenient sample. They were recruited from primary health care in BANI SUEF governorate aging from 0 to 5 years old The questionnaires were distributed to the participants All included children’s caregiver will subject to survey filled by investigator; Electronic interface for survey collected will be used (Magpi software) inter face Results: Results of the present study showed that vaccination coverage of obligatory vaccination in Beni Seuf governorate were properly covered but extra recommended vaccinations needed to increase awareness about it. Conclusion: In conclusion, vaccination status of the obligatory vaccination were covered properly in Beni Suef governorate as all children who were shared in our study were received their obligatory vaccination according to the schedule according to their ages regardless their care givers social class or education levels. |
