Abstract A series of CoLaxFe2-xO4 nanoferrite samples where x= (0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2 0.25 0.3), have been prepared by three different methods(the standard ceramic, flash and citrate method); their crystalline structures were investigated by using diffraction pattern. The X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the samples have a single phase spinel cubic structure. High resolution TEM employed to confirm the results of XRD studies. The FTIR spectra of the samples were reported. DC electrical resistivity has been studied at different temperatures and different frequencies 1KHZ and 10KHZ. The dielectric constant and the loss tangent were increases gradually up to particular temperature which is designated as dielectric transition temperature (Curie temperature). The permeability for cerami samples at room temperature increases by increasing La content. The hysteresis loops of the samples were performed at room temperature, the coercivity (Hc), saturation magnetization (Ms) and experimental magnetic moment (μexp) were determined. Thermal Gravimetric Analysis (TGA) and its first derivative curve of the nanoferrite samples were carried in the temperature range from 30-8000C.The positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy(PALS)was used to investigate the defects in the nanoferrite samples. |
