Abstract The current study was carried out in Department of Anesthesia,Ophthalmology Unit, in Tanta University Hospital, on 111 pediatric patients of either sex, ASA physical status I& II, scheduled for elective strabismus repair under general anesthesia. Patients were randomly allocated into three equal groups, group C (control), group A(Atropine) and group K (ketamine) 37 patients each. After approval from the Local Ethical Committee and all patients had an informed written consent of the study. All surgeries were carried out by the same ophthalmologist. |
