Abstract

The present research work includes two main experiments: one with the aim of studying the effect of heat stress on productive performance and blood parameters of two turkey breeds the White Nicholas turkey and the Black Baladi turkey. The first experiment divided into three different groups within the two breeds, three different temperatures provided (25, 30 and 35 Celsius). Results showed great differences among productive traits; as live body weight, body weight gain, feed consumption and feed conversion ratio. Also the blood parameters affected by heat stress. The second experiment showed the effect of stocking density on performance of two turkey breeds; the Commercial White Nicholas and the Black Baladi breed. Three different densities allowed in three groups 4, 6 and 8 birds per square meters. Results showed that stocking density had bad effects on performance of two breeds. Also blood parameters affected.
