Abstract

The objective of the present study was to evaluate the toxic effects of aflatoxin on some hematological parameters, serum biochemical and immunological and to determine the preventive effectiveness of added antimycotoxins.
In the study, a total 150 broilers were used and the broiler separated equally into 6 groups each group contain 25 broilers. group (I): fed the normal diet. Group(II): fed food contain anti mycotoxin (chemical synthetic) .group (III): fed food contain antimycotoxin (biological synthtic). group (IV) fed 500 μg aflatoxin/kg diet mix antimycotoxins (chemical synthetic). group (V): fed the food containing 500 μg aflatoxin / kg diet + diet mix antimycotoxin (biological synthtic). group (VI): fed 500 μg aflatoxin / kg diet.
Concerning the hematological findings at the end of experiment of the group (VI) and group (VI) revealed microcytic hypochromic anemia with leucopenia, neutropenia and lymphocytopenia compared to control healthy group .while group(III)and(V) revealed increase in RBCS count, Hb concentration and PCV. And also increase leucocyte, neutrophils and lymphocytes .
Serum biochemical examination at the end of experiment of the group (VI) and group (VI) revealed hypoprotinemia, hypoalbuminemia and hypoglobuliemia but serum ALT, GGT, total and direct bilirubin, creatinine and uric acid were increased while cholesterol and glucose were decreased compared to control healthy group .
group (III, V) revealed decrease level of ALT, GGT, total and direct bilirubin, creatinine and uric acid. While, revealed increase of total protein, albumin, globulin, cholesterol and glucose.
The immunological parameters result showed the following significant decrease in all measured parameters (IgG, IgM, IL-1, IL-6, IL-10 and TNF-alpha) when compared with control healthy group .while revealed increase in these parameters in group (III and V) when control with control healthy one.
We concluded that treatment with biological synthetic antimycotoxin (nutritox) is better than using chemical synthetic antimycotoxin(zeocem) in control of aflatoxicosis in broilers.
