Abstract
There was no significant difference between patients with GTCs and those with absence seizures regarding Wisconsin test.
As regard continuous performance test, Our study shows that in cases, total omission(15.20±9.21),total commission (13.80±8.94) were higher in patients than in controls (3.52±1.85), (4.08±1.85), respectively indicating the impairement of sustained attention.
There was no significant difference between patients using mono therapy and those using poly therapy.
There was a significant difference between patients using different antiepileptic drugs and controls where patients using valoproate shows the worst scores.
There was a significant difference between patients with GTCs and those absence seizures regarding total omission and average delay where patients with GTCs has worse scores
