Abstract

The aim of the present study was to compare the anesthetic efficacy of 2% Mepivacaine with that of 4% Articaine for inferior alveolar nerve blocks in patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis in mandibular molars during access cavity preparation and root canal instrumentation using a numerical rating scale (NRS).
