المستخلص Ali Gaafar Al-Alaq, one of the most important Iraqis and Arab criticism poets who are known for their rich contribution in the field of poetry and criticism .Al-Alaq ,s poetic blog reflects his own vision for his personal, national and Arabic reality . This study includes the heritage in Al-Alaq,s poetry as a critical study containing three chapters preceded by preliminary . The researcher divided the preliminary into two sections .In the first one , he focuses on the concept of heritage in the language then in terminology . In the second section , he indicates the relationship between the contemporary poet and the heritage .He concluded that The poet is closely connected to his heritage . In the first chapter, the researcher deals with the patterns of heritage. He divides it into five patterns: legendary,Religious, poetic , popular and historical. Then he clarifies each pattern separately . He concluded that Al-Alaqs, experience is the Iraqi current tragedy, but the tragedy of man in general. In the second chapter , he deals with the implied side known as (The technical recruitment of heritage )which includes three pieces of research : intersection the mask and the symbol. Though this study, the poets talent appears when makes use of these techniques where he makes the present as a witness of the past. He also makes the past assist the present looking forward to abettor future. In the third chapter ,he shows the effect of heritageon the technical construction of Al-Alaq or the aesthetic side .It is divided into three parts : Language, image and rhythm. He become sure that the poet has the dynamics of language, large imagination and the sound appropriate for the meaning. The conclusion is as brief hints to indicate the most important results of this research. The study uses the integrative approach which benefits from all the modern curricula. According to the study, Al- Alaqi is one of the poets who it is not possible to confine his reading in a curriculum as one curriculum cannot fulfill his great creativity.
