Abstract The thesis is about using low-cost and simple process which allows large-scale synthesis of TiO2, C-TiO2, B-TiO2, N-TiO2, S-TiO2, N,B-TiO2, C,B-TiO2, N,S-TiO2 and C,S-TiO2 NPs that are synthesized using different routes as chemical using organic solvents and green synthesis using aq. extracts of Mangrove marine plant leaves and of Eichhornia aquatic plant leaves. Qualitative phytochemical screening of major bioactive constituents of prepared aq. extracts components was performed. NPs were characterized using different characterization techniques. Applying different sensitized NPs for photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants present in wastewater provided by El-Mesairy company at different experimental conditions. Assuring photocatalytic degradation process by applying COD test was done. Toxicity of wastewater and treated wastewater using different prepared catalyst was done The biological activity of prepared NPs using different routes on Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, Escherichia Coli and Vibrio natriegens was studied. Eco-toxicity of TiO2, C-TiO2, B-TiO2, C,B-TiO2 on aquatic organism rotifer at different experimental conditions was tested. Another application of using some of the prepared pure and doped TiO2 in fabricating perovskite solar cells and measuring their efficiencies and Studying the effect of dopant used on the solar cell efficiency. |
