Abstract Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques are frequently used for modeling, optimization, identification, forecasting, control, and prediction of complicated systems. The intelligent control of the output current and voltage of the three phase grid connected PV inverter is essential to be considered to enhance the system performance. In this work, two artificial intelligence techniques: Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm have been used to control the three phase grid connected PV inverter by adapting the values of KP & KI of PI controller of the current regulator that used to command the total P and Q of the system and KP & KI of PI controller of the linked DC voltage regulator. A simulation model has been presented using The MATLAB/SIMULINK software to simulate the performance of the system using the conventional PI controller and the proposed PI-GA and PI-PSO controllers to verify the validity of the proposed control schemes. Finally, the results of the simulation show the variance between using the conventional PI controllers and the proposed PI-GA and PI-PSO controllers to control the proposed on grid PV system. |
