Abstract

There were Highly Significant positive correlation between access recirculation and Urea1, urea2, basal k, and PTH Level, and there were highly significant negative correlation between access recirculation and URR and KT/V.
Our study didn’t find any relation between access recirculation and other parameters like Hb, Ca, lipid profile, age, sex, position of the fistula or being the first or second time access.
So, at the end we can say that using the dilutional potassium method to detect access recirculation and its effect on adequacy of Hemodialysis proved its efficiency and specificity.
