Abstract
The present thesis comprises three main chapters; introduction,experimental and results and discussion, as well as references, English and Arabic summary. The main chapters can be summarized as: Chapter I This chapter includes a general introduction for the literature survey of the previous work carried out on two main parts: The first part deal with Schiff base transition metal complexes and application of metal complexes of Schiff base in addition to their biological activity. It also includes a comprehensive literature survey of published research on the various studies of these compounds or some similar compounds. The second part deal with heterocyclic azo dyes especially containing nitrogen atom as very important class of organic colorant compounds and their complexes with different metal ions, coordination chemistry of pyrazolone, azo pyrazolone derivatives and their metal complexes in addition to their biological activity.
