Abstract The present study was carried out to evaluate the effect of probiotic(100gm /ton feed) and phytobiotic (500 gm /ton feed)given in ration either alone or in combination for 35 successive days (from 1st to 35th day of age) in broiler chickens on body weight, weight gain and feed conversion rate. Further approach was designed to study the effects of these substances on immune response, protein picture and its antioxidant effect beside pathological effect. Experimental design About 150, one day-old unsexed Rossa broiler chicks were used in this investigation classified into 5 equal groups, each of 30 chicks and distributed as the following group (A): Healthy broiler chickens non medicated (control group). group (B): Healthy broiler chickens fed with probiotic (B. licheniformis) at a dose of 8×105 CFU /gm feed for the whole feeding period. group (C): Healthy broiler chickens fed with phytobiotic (Biacid) at a dose of 500 gm per ton feed for the whole feeding period. group (D): Healthy broiler chickens fed with combination of probiotic (B. licheniformis) (8×105 CFU /gm feed) and Biacid (500 gm per/ton) for the whole feeding period. |
