Abstract This study aimed to assess CD40L and CD62p expression in diabetic pregnancy, and to evaluate their assotiation with different demographic, clinical and laboratory data, as well as their relation to disease out come. Subjects were classified into: group I (Patients group): The selected subjects were subdivided into two groups according to the onset of the disease: group I a: It included 20 women with preexisting diabetes group I b: It included 20 women with gestational diabetes group II (Control group): Twenty apparently healthy pregnant women. All the control participants were matched with patient population in terms of age and gestational age All subjects included in the study were subjected to the following: 1-Complete history taking. 2- Clinical examination . 3-Laboratory Investigations: A-Routine investigations: • Complete Blood Count (CBC). • Prothrombin Concentration . • APTT, Bleeding time. • Random blood glucose. • HbA1C. • Liver enzymes. • Serum albumin. • Serum creatinine. |
