Abstract Behavioral problems among school age children with enuresis is a global problem of significant public health importance that adversely affects the health of and the health of their parent. The aim of the present study was Assess common behavioral problems among school age children with enuresis as perceived by mothers. Across- sectional descriptive study was conducted at three hospitals in Port Said city during the year 2017-2018. The sample was 181 school age children mothers. The translated version of Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL) rating scale was used to assess common behavioral problems among school age children as perceived by mothers. Results obtained from this study revealed that the 38.7% children had common behavioral problems as perceived by their mothers. Attention problems and aggressive behavior were the most frequent behavioral problems (65.2%, 54.7% and 53.0% respectively) recorded by the scholar mothers. Conclusions: mothers had different perceptions of the different types of behavioral problems among school age children most of the studied children had attention problems. Recommendations: mothers should recognize that screening. |
