المستخلص This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a Communicative training program to develop verbal Communication and its impact on some Social Skills of children with newly cochlear implants. The sample of the current study consisted of (10) children with newly Cochlear implants and their mothers, divided into two groups: an experimental group which included (5) children and a control group which included the other (5) male and female children. Their age ranged between (3.4 : 6.3) years and their intelligence quotient ranged between (90 : 100) comprehensive habilitation center for disabled affiliate to the social solidarity in Mansoura. The researcher used the following instruments: Stanford – Binet intelligence Quotient (The fifth version), the Linguistic Scale (for Ahmad Abu Hasibah et al, 2011), Social Skills Scale for Cochlear implant Children (prepared by the researcher) and the Communicative training program for developing verbal Communication (prepared by the researcher). The study results revealed the effectiveness of the Communicative training program for developing verbal Communication on some social skills (Social relationships skill, Cooperation and making friends skills) of children with newly Cochlear Implants. The results indicated the following: There is a significant effect of the Communicative training program for developing verbal Communication on some Social skills (the Social relationships skill, the Cooperation skill and making friends skills) for children with newly Cochlear implants. |
