Abstract Recently, SIM has shown a unique activity, rather than its antihyperlipidemic activity. It could promote the wound healing process. And thus it can offer a solution to the problem of interest to the community and a wide range of patients. SIM has also shown an antimicrobial activity, it can suppress Gram +ve bacteria, and thus it can be used as an alternative to the conventionally known antibiotics. SIM is water-insoluble and has low bioavailability. The aim of this study is to formulate and evaluate a SIM PoNPs using the solvent evaporation technique. To improve the SIM solubility and skin permeation characters to be used for wound healing purpose. 1.SIM PoNPs preparation. 2.SIM PoNPs evaluation. 3.SIM PoNPs hydrogel formulation and evaluation. 4.Microbiological study of the effect of the combination of SIM and LEV. 5.Study on the wound healing activity of SIM gel, LEV gel and mixtures of them on rats. |
