Abstract
Energy drinks are one of the commonly used non- alcoholic caffeinated beverages among adolescents due to their stimulatory effect as increasing mental and physical performance. Its long term administration could produce a wide variety of adverse effects among many organs including the pancreas.Avocado oil is extracted from the avocado’s fruit pulp. It has broad spectrum pharmacological effects especially antioxidant and antiinflammatory effects.This research was performed to study the effect of energy drink on the histological structure of the pancreas of adult male albino rat and to evaluate the possible protective effect of avocado oil using light and electron microscopes.The present study was carried out on 40 adult male albino rats weighing from 180 to 200 grams and were housed in suitable clean properly ventilated cages under similar environmental conditions
