Abstract

Aim1 Estimate cerebral oxygenation and metabolism in patients undergoing clipping of ruptured cerebral aneurysm. 2.Estimate hemodynamic stability in this patients. 3. Materials and Methods. In this study, a total of 50 cases diagnosed with ruptured cerebral aneurysm undergoing for clipping in Mansoura university hospitals. Results : The results showed that there was significant difference in all parameters between propofol-midazolam total intravenous anesthesia and sevoflurane inhalational anesthesia. Conclusion : Based on the results of that study, we concluded that propofol-midazolam total intravenous anesthesia has better anesthetic profile on patients undergoing clipping of ruptured cerebral aneurysm than sevoflurane inhalational anesthesia.
