Abstract
Tachyarrhythmias are subdivided into two types of narrow and wide complex tachyarrhythmia ,narrow complex tachyarrhythmia subdivided into regular and irregular narrow complex tachyarrhythmia ,the regular types are sinus tachycardia which will be excluded from our research but the other types will be included as AV nodal reentry, Wolf Parkinson White Syndrome (WPW) and atrial flutter. The irregular types are atrial fibrillation(AF) and atrial flutter with variable AV conduction ,the other type broad complex tachycardia is (SVT) with aberrant conduction . Cardiac electrophysiology is the science of diagnosing and treatingof the electrical disturbance of the heart .it is executed by invasive intracardiac catheter recording of spontaneous activity as well as of cardiac response to programmed electrical stimulation (PES),these studies are performed to assess complex arrhythmias, evaluate abnormal electrocardiograms ,assess the risk of developing arrhythmias in the future ,and design treatment .these procedures increasingly include therapeutic methods (typically radiofrequency ablation) in addition to diagnostic and prognostic procedures.
