Abstract

Experiments were conducted during four consecutive seasons of 2017, 2018 and 2019 on three grape cultivars : “Bez-El-Anza” , “Thompson Seedless” and “Red Roomy” grown in the experimental orchard of fruit section, Faculty of Agriculture , Assiut University.
Treatments:
Spraying with Algae extract at 2 g/l., Spraying with amino acids (mix.) at 500 ppm, Spraying with Glycin at 500 ppm. , Spraying with Methionin at 500 ppm., Spraying with Lysin at 500 ppm., Spraying with Tyrosin at 500 ppm., Spraying with Folic acid at 150 ppm., Spraying with Vit. B6 at 150 ppm., Spraying with Vit. B12 at 150 ppm. and Control (water only).
The following measurements were taken on each vine:
A- Vegetative measurements:
Shoot length of the current season (cm.), leaf number/ shoot, leaf height & leaf width (cm.), to determine leaf area (cm2), weight of one-year old pruning wood (g/vine), total carbohydrates, total nitrogen in one-year old pruning wood (%), and C/N was then calculated.
B- Yield components:
Initial fruit set (IFS %), yield (kg/vine), Cluster no. / vine, cluster weight (g.)
C- Cluster and berry attributes:
1- Physical characteristics:
Cluster height, width (cm): To determine cluster shape index (H/W), Berries number / cluster, weight of 100 berries (g.), shot berries (%), Berry height and diameter (cm) and then berry shape index (H/D) was calculated and juice vol. of 100 berries.
2- Chemical properties:
Total soluble solids (TSS %), total acidity (T.A), TSS / acid ratio was then calculated, vitamin C (Ascorbic acid %), reducing sugars (%), juice pH: By digital pH meter, Chlorophylls (A, B), total Chlorophylls and total Carotenoids (mg/100g. F.W. of leaves)
