English Summary
First : Introduction to the problem of study:
Social capital in its general sense refers to the ability of individuals to work together within networks of shared relationships, in a manner that facilitates collective action to confront problems that these individuals may encounter in the context of their movement within society, and that collective action requires balances of social cohesion, the ability to integrate, and trust In others, tolerance and acceptance of others, all this is a manifestation of social capital, which is evident through the behavior of individuals and their attitudes.
It has been popular in recent years to use the concept of social capital because of the implications that human life needs in recent times, because it is noticeable that contemporary societies face many problems related to collective action, and this has resulted in many scientific attempts that aim to reveal assets Societies of social capital, wasting and erosion factors, and strategies to accumulate and activate it.
Social security for individuals in all societies is considered one of the fundamental foundations of social capital values, as it reflects the state of social security as an indication of the existence and interconnection of social capital values, and where new urban societies represent an initially heterogeneous environment in which there is a need for social security to achieve the values for Ras Social money for individuals living in these new urban communities.
Second : The Importance of the study:
The importance of the current study is determined by the following:
• Societal importance:
(1) The issue of social security is one of the most important issues facing society in a private family in recent years, from events and problems that cause people to worry and fear for their present and future.
(2) Social capital helps the emerging societies reach a social, economic and cultural level in which problems in traditional societies can be overcome.
(3) Achieving social security is a necessary prerequisite for the success of the development process in the emerging societies.
(4) Social security helps to achieve stability and progress for all societies, especially new urban societies.
(5) Social security depends on a set of important elements and pillars, including achieving social, economic, and health security for individuals in the community.
• Professional importance:
(1) The social service works to confront societal problems, especially problems related to social security in new urban communities.
(2) Social work is keen to use social capital to achieve societal stability, because the values of social capital are important for individuals and societies alike.
• Specialist importance:
(1) Social planning is committed to the goals related to achieving social security for individuals and societies, and then works to identify the obstacles that hinder the achievement of social security in new urban societies.
(2) Social planning also works to identify proposals that contribute to achieving social security in new urban communities.
(3) Social planning determines the relationship between the values of social capital and the achievement of social security in new urban societies.
Third : The Objectives of the study:
(1) Determining the level of social capital values in new urban societies.
(2) Determining the level of social security dimensions in the new urban societies.
(3) Identify obstacles to social capital values in achieving social security for new urban communities.
(4) Defining proposals for social capital values in achieving social security for new urban communities.
(5) A suggested schematic visualization of the values of social capital in achieving social security for the new urban communities.
Fourth : The conceptual framework governing the study:
(1) The concept of social capital.
(2) The concept of social security.
(3) The concept of new urban societies.
Fifth: The study hypotheses:
(1) It is expected that the level of social capital values in the new urban communities will be average, and it can be tested through the following dimensions:
1. The value of mutual trust.
2. The value of tolerance.
3. The value of social participation.
4. The value of teamwork and cooperative work.
5. The value of political participation.
(2) The level of social security dimensions in the new urban communities is expected to be average, and it can be tested through the following dimensions:
1. The social dimension.
2. The economic dimension.
3. The political dimension.
4. The environmental dimension.
5. The moral dimension.
(3) There is a statistically significant direct effect relationship between the values of social capital and the achievement of social security in the new urban areas.
(4) There is a statistically significant relationship between some demographic variables for household heads and their determination of the values of social capital in the new urban areas.
(5) There is a statistically significant relationship between some demographic variables for household heads and their identification of the dimensions of social security in the new urban areas.

Sixth: Methodological Procedures for the Study:
Type of study:
This study is considered descriptive and analytical studies.
Methodology used:
This study is based on the case study method using the comprehensive social survey tool.
Study Tools:
The data collection tools for this study were as follows:
(1) A questionnaire for heads of families living in the new city of Sohag.
(2) Questionnaire for officials and workers of the New Sohag City Authority.
The limits of the study:
- The Human boundaries:
(1) The comprehensive social survey of the heads of families living in the new city of Sohag, which number (213) families, who meet the following conditions:
1) The residence period should not be less than one year.
2) Permanent residence in the city.
3) Agreeing to cooperate with the researcher.
(2) The comprehensive social survey of officials and workers of the new Sohag City Authority, which numbered (184) individuals, after excluding workers, drivers and support services workers.

- Spatial boundaries:
The study was conducted in the new city of Sohag, Sohag Governorate.
The researcher chose the spatial field of study for the following reasons:
(1) The officials of the New Sohag City Authority cooperated with the researcher.
(2) The residents of the new city of Sohag cooperated with the researcher in collecting data related to the study.
(3) The new city of Sohag is one of the inhabited urban communities in Sohag Governorate.
- Time boundaries:
It took about a month to collect data from the field, starting from 12-12-2019 to 23/1-2020.
Seventh: Results of the study:
(1) The results of the study showed the level of the values of social capital in the new urban societies, where the average values of social capital reached 2.47 from the point of view of household heads and a standard deviation of 0.105, and the average values of social capital amounted to 3.14 from the viewpoint of workers and officials and a standard deviation of 0.130, and then The first hypothesis was rejected.
(2) The results of the study showed the level of the dimensions of social security in the new urban communities on average, as the average dimensions of social security in 2.92 from the point of view of the heads of families with a standard deviation of 0.116, and the average dimensions of social security of 2.9 from the viewpoint of workers and officials and a standard deviation of 0.124, and then was done He rejected the second hypothesis.
(3) The results of the study showed the direct influence of the statistically significant effect between the values of social capital and the achievement of social security in the new urban areas, where the relationship came average, as it reached 0.530 and was a function at the level of significance 0.01 for the results of household heads, as the relationship came average, as it reached 0.528 and was a function at the level of Significance of 0.01 for the results of workers and officials in the new Sohag City Authority, and then the third hypothesis was accepted.
(4) The results of the study showed the relationship between some demographic variables for household heads and their identification of the values of social capital in the new urban areas, where the relationship came average, as it reached 0.533 and was a function at the level of significance 0.01, where the relationship between age and social capital values was a strong relationship and reached 0.601, while it came The relationship between the social situation and the values of social capital is an intermediate relationship and reached 0.554, as the relationship between the educational situation and the values of social capital came to an average relationship which amounted to 0.505, and the relationship between the practical situation and the values of social capital came to an average relationship of 0.499, while the relationship came between the type of housing and the values of capital Social money is an average relationship of 0.507, and then the fourth hypothesis is accepted.
(5) The results of the study showed the relationship between some demographic variables for household heads and their identification of the dimensions of social security in the new urban areas, where the relationship came average, as it reached 0.590 and was a function at the level of significance 0.01, where the relationship between age and social capital values was strong and reached 0.700, while the relationship came Between the social situation and the values of social capital a strong relationship reached 0.641, as the relationship between the educational situation and the values of social capital came to an average relationship of 0.589, and the relationship between the practical situation and the values of social capital came to an average relationship of 0.502, while the relationship between the type of housing and the values of capital came The average social relationship was 0.522, and then the fifth hypothesis was accepted.
