Abstract

Represents an introduction to the sources of water pollution, throwing the light on the nature of industrial wastewater, classification and chemistry of dyes, this chapter also refers to the using of different nanomaterials in the remediation of wastewater and dyes by adsorption, one of them iron nanomaterial. Also, introduction focuses on different preparation methods of nZVI and its modifications. Furthermore, it refers to increasing the efficiency of nZVI by modification which enhances the removal capacity by supporting the iron nanoparticles on nBent and CMC, and the factors affecting its performance on the sorption process of dyes, as dye concentration, type of the solvent, adsorbent dosage and contact time.
