Abstract 1:-Introduction: - The concrete industry in the world has recently witnessed tremendous growth of concrete as a structural material. It has been widely used throughout the world in the twentieth century, and despite the rapid growth of concrete which is one of the crucial indicators of concrete technical progress and the general improvement of the quality of concrete; A common, widespread problem is its high probability of cracks due to the weak tensile strength of concrete, such as thermal cracks, shrinkage cracks and reactions to chemical reactions that corrode rebar, alkali-silica reactions, sulfate attacks, etc. which in turn lead to the collapse of those facilities, also the maintenance cost of concrete structures is high. Consequently, researchers had to come up with solutions to access high-quality facilities while trying to develop the sustainability of these facilities by accessing self-Healed concrete by adding bacillus bacteria with a source of calcium that closes the cracks automatically as soon as they occur without any Human innervation. |
