Abstract :
This a field study thesis is focusing on the impact of time management on work pressures in Egyptian Public Authority for Drainage Projects ،and knowledge of employees awareness of the importance of time management and the impact on work pressure. The study population reached (756) individuals and took a sample of (280) individuals Including all administrative levels exept some workers who can̕t read and write to reach the best results. The researcher used his analysis of the data package statistical applications programs in the field of social sciences known as SPSS.
Objectives of the study:
The study aims to achieve the following objectives:
1)Knowing the significant negative impact of time management on work pressure.
2)Knowing the significant negative impact of time management dimensions (time planning, time organizing , time direction , time controlling) on work pressures.
3)Knowing the significant differences of employees awareness of the the dimensions of time management in relation to the following demographic variables (type, age groups, academic qualification, years of experience).
4)Knowing the significant differences of employees awareness of the dimensions of work pressure in relation to the following demographic variables (type, age groups, academic qualification, years of experience).
5)put a group of recommendations in the light of the most important results reached for the decision makers.
Study hypotheses:
The study has three main hypotheses:
1)There is statistically significant negative impact on time management and work pressure.
This hypothesis is divided into the following sub-assumptions:
1.1.There is statistically significant negative impact on time planning on work pressure.
1.2.There is statistically significant negative impact on time time organizing on work pressure.
1.3.There is statistically significant negative impact on time time direction on work pressure.
1.4.There is statistically significant negative impact on time controlling on work pressure.
2)There is differences statistically significant of employees wareness of the dimensions of time management in relation to the following demographic variables (type, age groups, academic qualification, years of experience).
3)There is differences statistically significant of employees wareness of the dimensions of work pressure in relation to the following demographic variables (type, age groups, academic qualification, years of experience).
Results:
The first main hypothesis that ”there is a significant statistical negative impact of time management on the pressure of work.
sub-assumptions
”There is a significant negative impact of statistical significance of time planning on the pressure of work .
•”There is a significant negative impact of statistical significance of time organizing on the pressure of work .
•”There is a significant negative impact of statistical significance of time direction on the pressure of work .
•”There is a significant negative impact of statistical significance of time controlling on the pressure of work .
The second main hypothesis was partially validated, and there are ”statistically significant differences in employee perception of time management dimensions with respect to the following demographic variables (gender, age groups, academic qualification, years of experience)”.
The third main hypothesis was partially validated, and that ”there are statistically significant differences in the workers’ perception of the dimensions of the work pressure in relation to the following demographic variables (gender, age groups, academic qualification, years of experienc
