Abstract
The aim of the present work is to synthesize some new pyrazolopyrimidine and sufathiazole derivatives to form new pharmacophore for antimicrobial agents. This work divided into two parts:
Part 1
Synthesis and Antimicrobial Evaluation of Some New Pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine, Pyrazolo[1,5-a]quinazoline and Pyrazolo[1,5-c]triazine Derivatives Containing Sulfathiazole Moiety
We have been interested to study the intermediate N-(4-(N-(thiazol-2-yl)sulfamoyl)phenyl)- carbonohydrazonoyl dicyanide (2) as starting material for the synthesis of new heterocyclic compounds, which prepared by diazotization of sulfathiazole1 and coupling of the diazonium salt with malononitrile.
