This research is concerned with the study of how to reach a set of standards that can be applied in the design process for new cities that work to integrate and integrate Transit Oriented Development with the urban design of those cities and these standards are important in directing the design of new cities from cities that depend on Private cars to cities that depend on transportation The collective movement of pedestrians and bicycles, which results in a return in the process of sustainable development of these cities at the economic level (by reducing the cost of fuel consumption and car consumption and reducing the cost of road construction) on the social level (in creating a more vibrant city that encourages walking and increasing acquaintance with the city’s residents) On the environmental level (from reducing the greenhouse gases resulting from excessive use of cars) the research consists of five main parts:
1-Urban design and its role and it includes: The theoretical study, in this part we deal with the importance and benefits of urban transport, its patterns, issues related to it, obstacles and factors of success of urban transport in new cities, and also dealt with new entrances of urban design and elements of urban design for new cities, the movement network for new cities and the characteristics of sustainable urban formation. And a network of open spaces in new urban settlements.
It also included a study of the mutual influences between urban design elements of cities and directed urban transport, and the extent of their reflection on each of them.
2-Global experiences: It deals with a presentation and analysis of a number of global experiences to study the impact of Transit Oriented Development on the development of new urban communities (Singapore - South Korea - Sweden - Minnesota - Portugal - Brazil - Australia - India). This part ends by comparing the experiences on three The main axes that make up any city (uses - formation - the landscape street).
