This study aimed to know the relationship between social responsibility and marital satisfaction among newly married, as well as the introduction of a social status variable to know the extent of social responsibility and marital satisfaction with it, The comparative descriptive approach is used with the questionnaire as a tool to collect data. To achieve the goals of the study, the current researcher used the socioeconomic level measure for the family prepared by Abdul-Aziz Al-Shas (2013), the social responsibility scale prepared by Sayed Othman (1996), legalization of the current research and the marital satisfaction scale prepared by Viola El-Beblawy (1987), legalization of the current research. The study was conducted on (165) of newly married couples (95 male, 70 female) and the duration of marriage (one to four years), Their ages ranged between (30:25) years, they were randomly selected from a number of factories And companies. The study yielded these results: - There is a positive relationship between marital satisfaction and social responsibility among the study sample individuals - An equation for predicting marital satisfaction has been formulated through the dimensions of social responsibility - There are differences in marital satisfaction between the two groups who have a high level of social responsibility and those who have a low level of social responsibility - There are no differences in the average degrees of marital satisfaction between the samples, according to their different educational levels - There are no statistically significant differences in the degrees of social responsibility due to the difference in the level of study.
