First: The study problem:
The gifted and talented are the true wealth of their societies, and they are their treasures and the richest resources on launching, the reality of their minds, creativity and inventions, the hopes of facing the challenges and solving the dilemmas and problems that stand in the way of national development, and in the future, and in the future, and the modernization of these societies and their development and the realization of their progress and the building of their civilization.
The great est losses in human wealth are represented by gifted children who do not find encouragement to show an expansion of the search for their identity, and it is the matter that this child gifted, but he has disabilities in education and goes among ordinary students, does not discover his gifted and does not address his disabilities, and if this group is accurately diagnosed based on the right foundations, we will be able to direct the appropriate programs for them and work hard to solve their problems and enable them to overcome them, which will benefit us all because this group builds on hopes for the future of this nation.
The social worker is one of the forms of the educational process that he must take responsibility for the development of the category of gifted students with learning disabilities, and the causes of the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities are many between subjective and environmental reasons, and needs to be treated professional intervention by the social worker, considering that the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities from modern problems, the intervention of the social worker with them requires the development of his professional performance by providing him with requirements (knowledge- values - skills)both in the field of school and professionalaspects, and since previous studies have shown in their results the existence of some shortcomings in the professional performance of the social worker.
Based on the above, the researcher identified the subject of her study in ”the professional requirements to develop the professional performance of The social workers to alleviate the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities ”.
Second: The importance of study:
The importance of the study and the reasons for its selection appear as follows:
1- The category of gifted students with learning disabilities in need to shed light on their needs and problems and how to deal with it professionally.
2. The results of research and studies confirmed the existence of learning disabilities in the group of gifted and talented students.
3. The reality is that in some family’s parents face difficulties in diagnosing the problems of these children and can benefit from social workers in schools in dealing with their children.
4- The social worker is one of the forms of the educational process, which makes attention to himan interest in the educational process and from where it is an effective and active course within the schools, so it was necessary to reach the solution of all obstacles that stand in the way.
5. The professional performance of the social worker is the cornerstone of the assistance process and the refire the quality of professional performance will be positively reflected in the professional handling of the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities.
6- The researcher’s desire to develop a program to develop the professional performance of the social worker in the field of school with the category of gifted students with learning disabilities.
Third: The objectives of the study:
The objectives of the study are determined by:
Main objective:
”Identifying the professional requirements to develop the professional performance of the social workers to alleviate the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities ”
A set of sub-objectives emerge from this main objective:
1-Identify the knowledge requirements to develop the professional performance of the social workers to alleviate the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities.
2-Identify the values requirements to develop the professional performance of the social workers to alleviate the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities.
3-Identify the skill requirements to develop the professional performance of the social workers to alleviate the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities.
4-Identify the obstacles facing the social worker in his work with the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities.
5-Identify proposals to develop the professional performance of the social workers to alleviate the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities.
The second objective:
- A proposed Training programmed to develop the professional performance of the social workers to alleviate the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities.

Fifth: Type of study:
This study belongs to the pattern of descriptive studies to describe and determine the relationship between the variables of the study (the professional requirements to develop the professional performance of the social workers - the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities).
Descriptive research aims to describe the subject of the research or the problem and to quantify or qualitatively identify it, descriptive research aims to examine current realities relating to the nature of a particular phenomenon, situation, group of people, a group of events or a set of situations.
Sixth: The method used in the study:
The current study is based on the comprehensive social survey of social workers working in public primary schools in City Abu Tig, Asyut governorate.
The social survey approach is a descriptive research method based on the collection and analysis of social data through research tools such as an interview or form in order to obtain information from a large number of people involved in the phenomenon in question.
Seventh: Study questions:
First President’s question:
”What are the professional requirements to develop the professional performance of the social workers to alleviate the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities?”
This question is divided by the President’s set of sub-questions:
1-What are the knowledge requirements to develop the professional performance of the social workers to alleviate the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities?
2-What are the values requirements to develop the professional performance of the social workers to alleviate the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities?
3-What are the skill requirements to develop the professional performance of the social workers to alleviate the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities?
4-What are the obstacles facing the social worker in his work with the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities?
5- What are proposals to develop the professional performance of The social workers to alleviate the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities?
The second president’s question:
What is A proposed Training programmed to develop the professional performance of the social workers to alleviate the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities?
Eighth: Study tools:
The current study is based on the following tools:
1- questionnaire on the professional requirements to develop the professional performance of the social workers to alleviate the problems of gifted students with learning disabilities (prepared by the researcher) and divided into:
A- Preliminary data of social workers include (name, age, gender, academic qualification, social status, years of experience, number of training courses obtained by the social worker, in case of participation in training courses as well as identifying the following, problems faced by gifted students with learning disabilities from the point of view of the social worker and divided into problems (educational - psychological - behavioral - social - school family), the tasks exercised by the social worker with gifted students with learning disabilities.
B- Data related to the variables of the study professional requirements and learning disabilities of the gifted and includes the following dimensions (the knowledge requirements, the values requirements, the skill requirements, the obstacles, proposals).
Ninth: Areas of study:
A- Spatial domain:
The current study was applied to the Abu Tig center in Assiut governorate as a public area of three centers (Sahel Salim- Abu Tig- Safa) identified by the Central Authority for Public Mobilization and Statistics for the researcher, and the researcher was selected for the Center Abu Tig as the first place in the number of schools (62 schools) which meet the requirements of the sample, and the current study was applied to the Center of Abu Tig on the number (58 schools), from
Primary schools in Abu Tig center out of 62 primary schools, where 4 schools were excluded by the Central Authority for Public Mobilization and Statistics as non-governmental schools.
B- Human field: The current study applied to the number of (124) hundred and twenty-four individuals, the total social workers in the aforementioned schools.
C. The time area of the study: The study was completed in both theoretical and practical terms from 13/10/2019 to 30/11/2020
X: Results of the Study:
The professional requirements of the social worker came in the following order:
1-Cognitive requirements in the first place where its relative strength (81.39%).
2. Followed by skill requirements in the second place with relative strength (74.26%), divided into the following: the skill in communication came in the first place, followed by technological skills, skill in the management of the interview, and then skill in the formation of a professional relationship.
3. Followed by value requirements in third place with relative strength (74.25%).
4. The social worker’s awareness of the constraints was relatively strong (77.96%), divided into the following: family-specific constraints came first, followed by those of the school, the pupil’s disabilities, and the obstacles of the social worker.
5. The social worker’s awareness of the proposals to overcome these constraints came with relative strength (98.61%), divided into the following: the proposals for the pupil came in first place, followed by proposals for the family, then the proposals for the social worker, and then the proposals for the school.
In the end, the study came up with a training program proposed from the perspective of the theory of social role by interacting with other theories in the development of the professional performance requirements of social workers working with talented pupils with learning difficulties.
