The main objective of the study is (an attempt to monitor the employment of media documentation techniques and its relationship to the quality of institutional journalistic materials). The main objective is divided into several sub-goals:- 1- Monitor the most important modern technological techniques used in media documentation and their relationship to the quality of production of institutional press materials. 2- Identify the extent of interest in the media documentation process and its impact on the quality of production of institutional press materials. 3- Exposing the methods of using modern technology to modify and document texts. 4- Knowing the effects of recent developments in the field of technology on media documentation and increasing the quality of institutional press materials. 5- Explaining the process of employing media documentation techniques and its relationship to the quality of institutional press materials. 6- Exposing the differences between the newspapers, the study sample, with regard to the different documentation processes, and their implications for the presented content. The Result of the study: 1- The results of the study showed Al-Ahram depends on images at a higher rate than the seventh day (elyoum elSabaa). The results also revealed that Al-Ahram’s dependence on photographed images of the event reveals the availability of the immediate component of coverage, with regard to the content presented. 2- The results revealed the availability of the quality component with regard to the information presented in the study newspapers in terms of accuracy and comprehensiveness, as this was evident through the endeavor of Al-Ahram as a government newspaper to provide comprehensive information on the event in all aspects. It wants to maintain her appeal to the regular reader so analyzes and interprets the news. 3- The results also showed the availability of digitization characteristics in the study papers, which results in the availability of a quality element in the documentation and archiving process of information. 4- Al-Ahram depends on the archive, especially the photography ones, is greater than the seventh day (elyoum elSabaa) relies on it, which confirms the method of digitization in documenting, preserving and storing files, and what confirms its reliance on the so-called scout, which is the technique that helps integrate a lot and a lot of information, images and various events. They are tabbed indexes that classify articles, studies and news and facilitate their follow-up and reference to them with the least effort and the shortest possible period of time. These scouts may be for one newspaper or for several newspapers. The bibliographic data that appears in the indexes of newspapers includes the name of the author of the article or the news if it appeared and the title of the news in full. If the news or article contains pictures, the word pictorial is placed in brackets at the end of the data. 5- The results revealed Al-Ahram’s interest as a national newspaper in covering all affairs of the state’s interests and its official institutions.
