Accordingly, a safe, rapid and affordable method of diagnosis is urgently needed and so the Ultrasound was considered.
The main aim of this study was to determine the ability of ultrasonography to diagnose and follow up different cases of bowel diseases. Either chronic or acute emergency conditions that may necessitate immediate surgical or medical intervention.
And according to our results, Ultrasound was proven to have a major role in different bowel diseases in children diagnosis, especially that it is considered a safe procedure that doesn’t cause non-ionizing radiation exposure.
