Abstract

The lymphatic system is one of the most important biological systems in the human body. This system includes many vessels that spread abundantly within the body tissues through which the lymphatic fluid passes. The lymphatic system has more than one function, as it performs three important functions for the human body. Those functions are:
1.It keeps the balance of the fluid levels in the human body, keeping the balance between the blood and different body tissues.
2.It has been proven that the lymphatic system is a very important part of the immune system, playing a major role in against many diseases.
3. It helps a lot in the body’s process of absorbing beneficial fats, as well as nutrients and vitamins dissolved in liquids passing through the digestive system.
Members of this system includes bone marrow, spleen, lymph gland, as well as tonsils. These organs participate in the protection of humans from diseases, by participating in the immune role of the lymphatic system. The lymph nodes are large group of glands that spread abundantly throughout the body, providing many important benefits for the human body The basic role of these glands depends on the purification of the lymphatic fluid from toxins. They also transfer the pure lymph fluid to the veins. Lymph nodes contain a mixture of immune cell types including B cells. The major task of B cells is the production of antibodies, which are specific proteins produced by the immune cells/system to fight harmful substances known as antigens. Each B cell is assigned to produce a monoclonal antibody.
