Abstract The present study was conducted on 48 male mice breeded in Theodore Bilharz Research Institute for the detection relative expression levels of CpACS 1, CpACS2 and CpACS3 genes under effect of Atorvastatin and Nitazoxanide in immunosuppressed mice by quantitative real-time RT-PCR (qRT-PCR) The current work showed that long chain fatty acyl-COA synthetase (LC- ACS) genes of primer CP ACS2,CP ACS3, in C Parvum that were differentially expressed in the samples Nitazoxanide treated group had percentage of reduction with mean percentage reduction 20%) ,86% respectively (P-value<O.05) as compared to infection control group. Nano- Nitazoxanide treated group had the least percentage of reduction with mean percentage reduction 100% in .& CPACS2and CPACS3 (P-value<O.05) as compared to infection control group. Atorvastatin treated group had percentage of reduction with mean percentage reduction 76%, 82% in CPACS2 and CPACS3 respectively (P-value<O.05) as compared to infection control group. Nano-Atorvastatin treated group had percentage of reduction with mean percentage reduction 83%, 100% in CP ACS2 and CPACS3 respectively (P-value<O.05) as compared to infection control group. A combination of Nano- Atorvastatin and Nano-Nitazoxanide showed synergistic effect in the form of percentage of 100% in CPACS2 and CPACS3 (P- value<O.05) as compared to infection control group. Key Words: Cryptosporidium Parvum - Atorvastatin. |
