Abstract The ability to use language to interact across different cultures has become one of the most important abilities that should be there for the 21st century pupils. we, as teachers, should be equipped with new instructional techniques. We have to find alternative trends and strategies to upgrade and modernize the traditional strategies. The problem of this study was that some primary English learners’ lack the interaction to write actively configure meaningful sentences, organize their thoughts, interact and share their ideas, and express their views in simple argumentative way with their prior knowledge. That was reduced from the pilot study. That was probably due to the ineffective and regular teaching strategies which their goal to pass the exam without involving in real life interaction to use language during the educational learning grades, as well as the pupils’ needs in this stage to learn through enjoyment and playing through but the educational system and strategies lack or the mis applicated the teaching aids, which affected their IW negatively. The main aim of this study was to design a program that enhances the primary pupils interactive writing,i.e. configure meaningful sentences, organize their thoughts, interact and share their ideas, and express their views in simple argumentative way with their prior knowledge through implementing humorous activities designed by the researcher. The program was conducted on thirty primary pupils in Yehia El-Rafie official language school. The pupils were enrolled in grade five of primary stage .The program included twelve sessions and the duration of the program was about sixty-five hours in four weeks .The administration of the program was on online site Edmodo , discussions on WhatsApp and zoom meetings because of coronavirus isolation. The instruments of the study included a pre/post IW online test on Edmodo classroom, and the IW rubric. |
