Abstract

This study is designed to investigate the effect of food coloring azo dyes carmoisine (E122) and sunset yellow (E110)on brain and liver tissue of experimental mice and expression level of miRNA 34a and miRNA 140 and target genes of SIRT and NRF2in male mice To achieve that the following protocol was followed:
The experimental animal will be divided into 5 groups
-A group one :n=20
Control group received basal diet
B-group two: n=20
Mice received carmoisine at dose equivalent to ADI 4mg/ kg. B.wt daily for 3 month
C-group three n=20
Mice received SY (sunset yellow) at dose equivalent to ADI
30 mg/ kg. B.wt daily for 3 months
D- group four: n=20
Mice received high dose of carmoisine 10XADI equivalent to 40mg/ kg. B.wt daily for 3 months
E– group five: n=20
