Without God’s blessings, this accomplishment would not have been possible. Besides, the highest praise and gratitude are dedicated to our prophet Mohammed (PBUH), our role model, who was sent by Allah as an embodiment of mercy and as a teacher for all mankind. I would like to express my deep sense of gratitude and respectful regards to my committee members without whom this thesis would not have been possible. First, I would like to thank my supervisor Professor Mohamed Negm for his precious guidance, constant encouragement, support, understanding, patience, inspiration, and insightful criticism. The door of Prof. Negm’s office was always open whenever I ran into a trouble spot or had a question about my research or writing. Furthermore, I would like to thank my supervisor Professor, Ghada Elyamany, for her attention and guidance. I am gratefully indebted to her valuable and useful remarks on this thesis. Besides, I record my deep sense of gratitude to Prof. Awad El-Kilany, my dear departed supervisor, for his continuous guidance and support.
