Abstract
The goal of the present research is to set the optimum design criteria for a new oil well in the Egyptian Western Desert to be delivered in only two sections including precise casing setting depth, accurate fluid density for each section, appropriate formation bridging and sealing in the production zone, plan a suitable directional trajectory, suitable BHA scenarios for each section and cementing program of production casing and also specify the challenges in this type of design and the mitigations taken to overcome this and present the benefits of this type of design on an economical basis.
